Holman plays with San Luis Obispo Symphony Labour Day weekend

Come Labour Day weekend, Ray Holman will join conductor Michael Nowak and the San Luis Obispo Symphony in a concert titled “Pops at the Sea 2004!” on September 5.

The composer/arranger/performer will be playing popular songs. Also on the lineup will be the sizzling Pandoliers, a steelband from the Central Coast area in California.

Holman has worked with a symphony once before, when he joined the German National Orchestra for a television appearance in the early 1990s.

This is the Symphony’s 13 annual end of summer celebration.
The Symphony was started in 1954 and has become an outstanding community orchestra in the Central Coast of California, fostering symphonic and chamber music education.
